How did you two meet?
We both swiped right! :) Neither of us ever expected to find something special on a dating app, but we’re both so glad that we did!
How did he propose?
While on vacation we decided to spend the day at Lake Alpine, which is a beautiful and quiet lake tucked away in the mountains. We found a rock to sit on to take a break from exploring and that’s when Phil proposed! It was very personal, just the two of us, and definitely a moment that I will always cherish.
Where and When will you be getting married?
June 23rd at the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom, CA.

How was the process planning your wedding?
Since Phil and I live in Texas, we had to do long-distance wedding planning! Planning from far away forced me to stay extremely organized and I planned everything far in advance just in case there were any hiccups. I couldn’t have done it without all of my amazing and equally-organized venders and thankfully my parents live in Folsom so they were able to help a lot.
Any Tips or Tricks for Brides who just got engaged?
Try to plan ahead and don’t leave anything to the last minute. The last month or so before your wedding is filled with showers, parties, and excitement. The more you have done, the more you will be able to enjoy that special time.

Why did you choose Captured Cupid for photo &/or Video Services?
Phil and I spent a lot of time researching different videographers and getting quotes from different companies. Kevin from Captured Cupid was the only one who wanted to speak with me over the phone, which I really appreciated. After chatting over the phone for awhile, I immediately felt at ease from his laid back and friendly personality. He easily worked with my budget and I felt that we were on the same page after our initial phone conversation. We are SO happy with the service from Captured Cupid!!! In the months leading up to the wedding I would routinely check in with all of my venders. But Kevin ALWAYS beat me to it! He called me a couple of times just to go over all of the details and make sure nothing had changed. I can’t express how much this meant to me as a stressed out bride juggling a hundred different things. Then on our wedding day Kevin and his team were awesome! Extremely friendly and professional. I could tell that they weren’t just there to do their job-they were passionate and motivated to get the best footage possible. But what meant the most happened the day after the wedding when Phil and I were sitting in the airport on the way to our honeymoon. I received a text from Kevin saying that he had already put together a highlight video for us. We must have watched the video at least 20 times in that terminal, both overwhelmed with joy seeing our special day come to life through such beautiful footage. We can’t say enough good things about Kevin and his team and would highly recommend them!
